ABOUT

LUMENOIR

A creative space for those navigating the silent,
intricate world of mental health.

Born from animation, shaped by emotion, and held
in reflection, this is a space to feel not to fix.
to express, not perform.
TO BE SEEN AS YOU ARE.

We offer animation, community, and quiet solidarity
for anyone who needs to feel less alone.

NOIR

The name “LumeNoir” comes from two words:

Lume — meaning light.
Noir — meaning dark.

Together, they speak to contrast.
The light and dark we all carry.
The beauty of shadow, the softness of clarity.

Our logo holds layered meaning.

Designed in bold black and yellow, it reflects contrast: struggle and hope, silence and sound, pause and continuation.

At its center lies a ‘pause’ symbol, encouraging us all to take a breath.

Looking closer, and you’ll see the eyes shaped like a semicolon (;)
a symbol of mental health resilience.
It reminds us: your story is not over.

This isn’t just a visual mark. It’s a quiet statement — to reflect, breathe, and honor your own rhythm.

A Journey from Me to Us

LumeNoir started as a project for my Master’s degree in animation. But something shifted, what began as an academic idea became personal.I wasn’t just animating emotions, I was deciphering my own.I realized I didn’t want to create art just for myself, for grades or for money.I wanted it to mean something, to reach people, hold space for them, offer softness. So I followed that feeling.LumeNoir became more than a project. It became a community.

We Believe;

Healing is not linear.Expression is a form of survival. You don’t need to be fixed just felt.Darkness does not erase the light.Everyone deserves a space to pause, breathe, and be.
